Nominee for Secretary - Barbara Brockway
Barbara Brockway is an experienced Business Analyst & Scrum Master. She has worked in IT for over 12 years & has experience as a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Lead, Product Owner & Scrum Master. She is currently a Delivery Lead (Business Analyst & Scrum Master) through Quality Consulting Inc. (QCi). Barbara is a Certified Product Owner & Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance.
Barbara has been actively involved in IIBA for over 10 years. She has volunteered for the IBADD Conference in previous years as the Logistics Lead, Partnership Lead & Content Lead. Josh Jones & Barbara Brockway Co-Chaired the IBADD Conference in 2017. She has been Secretary for the Central Iowa IIBA Board since 2024.
As Central Iowa IIBA Board’s Secretary Barbara will continue to organize and maintain the IIBA chapter & board documentation, create the board meeting agendas & meeting minutes, record all motions & decisions of the board, maintain the chapter records and documents in a central shared system, development and maintain successions plans for the board.
Director of Logistics - Josh Jones
My name is Josh and I would be honored to be part of the IIBA Board. I’ve been in and around the Business Analysis space for 20+ years and recently have delved into the world of Product Management. I previously chaired IBADD (2017) and recently served a 3-year term on ADP’s Client Advisory Board as well as sat on the Programs Committee for Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation where I coordinated logistics for the annual Easter Egg hunt event.
As Logistics Chair, I will support my fellow board members in continuing to evolve the Central Iowa Business Analysis community. I will also bring my extensive expertise to support and streamline (if/where needed) chapter events, IBADD and other logistics-related needs. I am passionate about the Business Analysis space and growing the chapter. I believe my fresh perspective and strengths with relationships and networking will help build the chapter back up. I’ve benefited from being a member of IIBA and I love the opportunity to give back to the chapter.
